Best Photos of 2020
2020 was definitely not a good year. The coronavirus pandemic really impacted my ability to travel and I do a lot of photography when I travel. As a result, I have far fewer photos this year than my usual for my “Best Of” post. Here is a link to the album of my best photos for 2020.
Here are the five photos individually as well, starting with this:
Baby Enzo, our Golden Retriever puppy, sleeping in his dog bed in the morning sunshine.
The MV Edgar B. Speer departing Duluth, MN in the late afternoon sunshine with a storm behind her on the South Shore of Lake Superior. I took this shot from a balcony at Fitger’s Inn in Duluth, MN.
A Florida alligator swimming in a pond at a roadside rest stop near the Florida Everglades.
A Reddish Egret grabbing a snack while fishing in the shallow waters of the Ding Darling Federal Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island in Florida.
The Two Harbors Lighthouse basking in the summer sun. Look closely and you’ll notice that the lantern is empty. The aero beacon that had served as the source of the light for decades finally failed and was removed. This photo was taken before they installed a temporary light to replace it.
